1. Ozark Trail Backpack

Backpacks are perfect for adventures or as a “personal item” along with your carry-on luggage for a flight. This is a great backpack for traveling a few hours from home or half way around the world. Most of all it has great pockets for organization and a cooler pocket for food and beverages. For a full review read my post,ย The Ultimate Travel Companion.

2. Insulated Gel Bladder

Water bladders are great for hiking, camping, running, and cycling. This insulated gel bladder holds 2 liters of liquid. It has a quick connect hose for easy cleaning. In addition, it also has a flexible tip for easy use. This water bladder is compatible with the backpack shown above.

3. Sunjack USB Rechargeable Headlamp

rechargeable head lamp

Anything that is rechargeable is a plus in my book. I absolutely despise buying batteries, mostly because I always forget to until I need them. Rechargeable batteries are the way to go!ย This headlamp is very bright because it is an LED light. USB Rechargeable HeadLamp has 3 modes of light: white spotlight, white floodlight and solid red LED.

Each white mode has 3 levels:
Spotlight: ย High Level – 240 lumens, 50-65 meters, 3.5 hours; Mid Level โ€“ 110 lumens, 30-35 meters, 8 hours; Low Level โ€“ 40 lumens, 5-10 meters, 40 hours.
Floodlight:ย  High Level – 100 lumens, 15-20 meters, 6 hours; Mid Level โ€“ 50 lumens, 8-12 meters, 12 hours; Low Level โ€“ 20 lumens, 5-8 meters, 48 hours.
Red Light is solid LED only.

It allows you to be hands-free for working, hiking, or camping.

Adventures are sometimes spontaneous. The weather is ALWAYS spontaneous. Waterproof gear is so important because you never know when a torrential rain pour will hit, or you may fall in a creek. ha! multi-use tool

The Ozark Trail multi-function tool is the perfect tool for camping or hiking. I also purchased one for my husband for Christmas, and he LOVES it. (hint hint to the ladies for a gift idea ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) It has a 15 in 1 tool function. This is definitely a MUST for the adventurer or anyone who needs a qualityย all-in-one tool for a low price.

7. The Buddy Pouch

magnetic pouch

This is such a GREAT product.ย First of all, it has strong magnets that allow you to attach the pouch to your clothes while you run, cycle, hike, or do any activity that requires your hands. The Buddy Pouch comes in a variety of colors and sizes. I received the buddy pouch for Christmas, and I highly recommend it! You can purchase it here.

8. Sunjack HeatBank-USB Rechargeable Hand Warmer + Powerbank

hand warmer

If there is one thing that I dislike it is cold hands and feet. The small packs of hot-hands don’t seem to warm my hands much. Sunjack came out with this rechargeable hand warmer and power bank.ย Never have cold hands again with the amazingly compact SunJack Handwarmer + Powerbank. This small device only ways 0.6 lbs but has the ability to heat up to 122ยฐF, and sustain 7500mAH of charge for your everyday devices!

9. GoPro Hero 5 Black camera

GoPro Hero 5 Black

Where do I begin? The GoPro Hero 5 black camera is the first action camera that I have owned. Although I am still playing with it, the GoProย is so easy to use! We received the GoPro Hero 5 as a Christmas present, and we purchased some attachments for our upcoming trip to Kauai. It’s the best gift for any adventurer or lifestyle travel blogger!

Finally, if you are wondering if you should purchase the GoPro compared to other action cameras then I definitely recommend the GoPro. Here are some of the specs:

  8. You’ve convinced me to buy a GO PRO, i’ve been chewing it over for a while. Some really cool stuff you’ve featured here!

    1. I promise that you will LOVE it! In a couple weeks I am posting a Beginners User Guide for the GoPro Hero 5 Black. You should check it out. ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. I really enjoy trips to the nature, if that is with a bike, motorcycle or hiking. Can’t wait to buy myself a gopro as well, so I can store the memories in a more convenient way than just in my brain.

  10. Wow! These are some cool travel “gadgets” ( sorry for using this word, sometimes I become Doremon ;)) I have to get that hand warmer…I hate it when my hands or nose becomes cold. I am going to pin this post for future reference. Thanks

    1. haha I say gadgets too! Yes, when my hands and feet get cold my whole body feels cold! Thanks for your feedback. ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. These products seem great! I may have to look into the backpack. You had me at ‘cooler for food and drinks’. Hahaha priorities! I currently own the GoPro Hero Silver. I bring it on all my trips, and I love it because it’s so small and so convenient. It’s also great because when I’m doing a water activity, I can take pictures/videos without worrying about water damage!

    1. Yes! That GoPro is my favorite toy right now! I am stoked to take it to Hawaii next month and have some fun. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks Larissa!

  12. I am sorry if I don’t know this, but what is the water bladder for? When I hear of the word bladder, I think of storage for urine. lol Anyway, nice list, and my fave among them would be the gopro!

    1. haha that made me laugh! It is used to hold water and you place it in a backpack and drink your water through the tube attached to it. I may need to add to my description under the picture. ๐Ÿ™‚

  13. I had no idea there was such a thing as a solar panel phone charger! That’s so cool, these are all really great items.

  14. I love all the rechargeable and solar items. My husband and I are avid campers and hate lugging around all of those extra batteries! I’m going to look into that hand warmer, too. My extremities get numb very easily and that would definitely come in “handy.” ๐Ÿ™‚

  15. I would not have thought of half of these! I love the look of the solar powered charger – way more convenient than having to set aside time to charge the charger separately. I desperately want to invest in a GoPro for my next travel adventure too, but I just need to find the perfect one.

  16. We have a Go Pro and I must say it’s such a fun camera! We take it everywhere – swimming, attached to our bikes, even worn on our chest when we went on a roller coaster ride!

Tell me what you think
